Kilcunda Clifftop // Sunset Engagement Shoot
March 28th was supposed to be the day these two gorgeous souls tied the knot in a lovely intimate garden ceremony in Melbourne. Then Covid 19 struck and all their dreams were shattered. Xanthe & Jarrod were totally devastated but looked to the future and worked with our sister company Immerse Photography to postpone the wedding and secure all their current suppliers. After all this was sorted I contacted them with a little offer. I asked them to meet me on their wedding day down at one of theirs and my favourite spots, Kilcunda, so we could celebrate the date with a lovely sunset couple shoot. They were totally blown away.
We met at the cliffs and Xanthe immediately said what a beautiful day we would have had for our wedding, and it sure was. Shaking off the disappointment we set off and wandered the cliffs and rocks, capturing their relationship and the true meaning to this day. Being together and being in love. When we finished they both had huge smiles on their faces and agreed this was a great way to celebrate this date and remember it as a positive.
I am so happy I could do this for this gorgeous couple and I can’t wait to photograph their actual wedding and just have the best day!
