Little Lyrical is 1 // Kilcunda Sunset Shoot
This shoot really was one of my absolute favourites. Aidan and I have known each other for nearly 2o years. He and Jen have modelled for me before and I have one of his amazing paintings hanging on my wall at home. He is an amazing artist himself, Aidan Weichardt Art, and we have the same appreciation of the simple things and the beautiful things in the world. We had chatted many times about doing a shoot with beautiful Lyrical back when Jen first had her but things just never worked out. So when she turned 1 the time had come to make it happen and so we did.
It was kind of the shoot with two halves. They had spent the afternoon at Shelley beach in Kilcunda, a favourite spot for them as a family, enjoying the sunshine with the dogs. They were sunkissed and salt covered and natural. Jen had two different sets of outfits for them all so we started down on the beach with muted tones and the water and rocks. Lots of textures and sunpops. Then headed up to the cliffs for the Kilcunda sunset shoot.
The colours, the bunnytails everywhere, the sunset and those amazing dogs made this shoot so perfect. There is no denying these guys are a picture perfect little family, full of love. So when you combine the perfect weather and the perfect location this is what you get. Total imperfect, natural perfection!
